filled night throughout it's existence dating back to the mid 90's. Big Star transformed into
UFORIA. I founded UFORIA on the principle of providing a perfect blend of music and
atmosphere for all my patrons.I started as a participant of the nightlife mainly as a
freestyle dancer before entering into the promotions aspect.I worked as concessions
vender at the infamous RPI Field house where I worked with everyone from Public Enemy
to LL Cool J, Bobby Brown to New Kids on the Block, to metal acts like Anthrax, Janes
Addiction and Motley Crue. With successful ventures at Houlihans(karaoke),
Bogies, Fuller Roadhouse, City Limits, The Waterfront, Town & Country
Bowling Lanes(mics & strikes) and ZIGGY'S. UFORIA Friday's at Elda's"99"
has taken the electronic music scene to the next level in this area it brought
people from all over the New England coast as well as the Capital District,with
its seven to one girl/guy ratio the crowd was just one element of the mix with
hard thumping bass and a out of this world light show it was a night not to be
missed. With parties at The Winter Music Conference 2004, South Beach,
Miami. The collection of promoters sponsored 140 DJ's between March 6-10
at venues Jade and State. Right now,I returned to my roots to be a part of the longest
running underground Hip Hop Show "THE RAP SCENE" With the godfather of hip hop
radio MR.ALWAYZCHILL.(THE SHOW IS ON SAT. FROM 2-4PM-WWW.WRPI.ORG/91.5fm
so check it out!)Apart from that, UFORIA has had it's hands in the pioneering efforts in the
local music scene in upstate NY! We have had weekly's in almost every venue here and
Uforia's Artists/DJ's have played all over the world and still have a strong impact on the
local nightlife. I've acknowledged that all of the present local promoters/bar mgrs have
either worked with me or for me. Imitation "Is The Ultimate Form Of Flattery" aside from
the promotions side of the game, I've Entered into the artist Mgmt/Production aspect of
music and have many upcoming acts in the studio right now, so if u fall into that category

1998. From there J Skillz the turntablist was born. After already being fully immersed in
every aspect of Hip Hop culture, Djin was second nature. At 8 years old putting together
mix tapes by the old "start, record, stop" technique. Once turntables were introduced the
focused shifted to scratching and other turntablism tricks. After years of practice the level
of talent lives up to the name. J Skillz. J Skillz stayed with HIM all through High School
until more gigs were offered and more money was on the table. Still in close contact with
DJ Noumenoun who put skillz on, the term alias was brought up. THE Main Event was
born. The Wally Dixon of Hip Hop. J Skillz is the turntablist, DJ Main Event is the all

CURCAR-(Studio-phonic/UFORIA)- Curcar, pronounced Sir-car, was Born
in Connecticut, but spent his early years in upstate N.Y......... He fell in love
with music at an early age because his mother had him listening to Motown
and Disco greats. He says, "That was life growing' up in the 80's. He entered
the scene at age 15. In the late 90's, things started to get serious in the Dance industry.
The scene was blowing up and Curcar was right in the thick of it. Money came fast, and
went just as fast, so he decided it was time to get out of the promoting end but his heart
was still in it for the music.As the logical line of progression goes, if you aren’t promoting
parties, your spinning them, and that’s just what he started to do. He bought his first set
of decks and (how a lot of us got started) the owner of the once popular Audio
Underground, Dames, donated 10 of the hardest Techno records you ever heard to play
& practice With two weeks later Curcar brought Dames a mix tape and Dames told him,
"You have the talent, so use it!" Curcar says, "The feeling I had while I was behind the
decks was amazing. A feeling I had been looking for, for years. I was engulfed in it; it had
me like nothing else ever had.A thirst to learn and hear the best that was out there lead
him to the famous Twilo in NYC. The history of this venue was unrivaled at the time. Every
Friday night, it held audience for the hottest DJ’s of the day, such as Carl Cox, Paul Van
Dyk, Sasha & John Digweed.They were there once a month and every Saturday Junior
Vasquez held court. "I owe a lot to these guys, they basically taught me all I know by just

in Connecticut, but spent his early years in upstate N.Y......... He fell in love
with music at an early age because his mother had him listening to Motown
and Disco greats. He says, "That was life growing' up in the 80's. He entered
the scene at age 15. In the late 90's, things started to get serious in the Dance industry.
The scene was blowing up and Curcar was right in the thick of it. Money came fast, and
went just as fast, so he decided it was time to get out of the promoting end but his heart
was still in it for the music.As the logical line of progression goes, if you aren’t promoting
parties, your spinning them, and that’s just what he started to do. He bought his first set
of decks and (how a lot of us got started) the owner of the once popular Audio
Underground, Dames, donated 10 of the hardest Techno records you ever heard to play
& practice With two weeks later Curcar brought Dames a mix tape and Dames told him,
"You have the talent, so use it!" Curcar says, "The feeling I had while I was behind the
decks was amazing. A feeling I had been looking for, for years. I was engulfed in it; it had
me like nothing else ever had.A thirst to learn and hear the best that was out there lead
him to the famous Twilo in NYC. The history of this venue was unrivaled at the time. Every
Friday night, it held audience for the hottest DJ’s of the day, such as Carl Cox, Paul Van
Dyk, Sasha & John Digweed.They were there once a month and every Saturday Junior

from the 60’s to present, as well as creative original music. SubZero’s band members
are based from Upstate New York and began playing together in 2003. The band has a
